THE annual Elsecar by the Sea event returns to Elsecar Heritage Centre this weekend with donkeys, fun fair rides and even a beach.
Organised by Script Events in partnership with Barnsley Council, it is set to bring all the fun of the seaside to the village from 10am to 4pm tomorrow and Sunday.
Visitors to the Heritage Centre will also find a themed craft fair in the Ironworks building which will host a variety of handmade crafts including home wares, preserves, baked goods, jewellery, artwork and more.
Fun fair rides are being provided by Scott Pullen and Son Fun Fairs and there will also be buskers, children's jewellery workshops and refreshments.
Event organiser Lucy Dickinson said: "It has been a great opportunity to get involved with organising this event, and we have had a great response to all the promotion that has been done – I'm all set for a great weekend."
