TWO GENERATIONS of dancers have found their way to success with teacher Lisa Thornley.
Mum and daughter Melanie and Chloe Coles have both made it the final of Miss Dance Great Britain under the tutelage of Lisa - with 18 years separating their achievements.
Melanie, 37, made it to the grand final in Blackpool in 1998, and last week Chloe found out she would be heading to the same competition final in June. Both went to Lisa Thornley’s School of Dance, on Stocks Lane, Barnsley.
Lisa started her school in May 1983, and said Chloe is her seventh pupil to make it to the grand final at Blackpool’s Winter Gardens.
