PLANS for a dozen new homes either side of the Dearne Playhouse in Goldthorpe have been submitted.

Sheffield-based company CODA Planning has submitted the plans for the two bedroom semi-detached homes on the site of two vacant buildings on Washington Road.

If approved by Barnsley Council, work would start in the new year.
