DODWORTH rocked to raise money in memory of Dawn Wood and the disease that took her life.
Terminally ill Dawn, 48, fulfilled her ‘last wish’ when she renewed her wedding vows to husband Kevin to celebrate their 22nd wedding anniversary last January.
Dawn had bravely fought off breast cancer, but then developed lung cancer and brain tumours.
Dodworth Central social club organised this summer’s live music fund-raising event in Dawn’s memory with an outside stage, live acts, bouncy castle and lots of music and fun.
The music festival raised £1,000 each for Dawn’s Trust and for Yorkshire Cancer Research.
