A HOYLAND boy decided to give money to two different worthy causes after he did a sponsored swim.
Jacob Taylor, eight, of Greenside Lane, took an hour to swim 64 lengths of the 25 metre pool in Hoyland Leisure Centre. He raised £300 and handed the money over last week.
Proud mum Kathryn Taylor, 43, said: “Jacob wanted the money to be split evenly between Barnsley Animal Rescue Charity and Hoyland under nines’ football team.”
