Lee Johnson has asked Reds fans to stop mocking his side in songs.

At Wigan on Saturday, Barnsley supporters sang 'how s***' must you be? We're winning away.'

The head coach said: "I would like the fans to stop the ironic chants because I don't think they help.  I understand they are having a bit of banter with the opposition but I think, with the efforts the players are putting in, I would rather they sang the name of one of our players or made up a new song."

Captain Alfie Mawson added: "We're not buzzing about some of the songs but at least the fans are being noisy.  I have learned how much football means to these fans and I can't blame them for being angry or annoyed at where we are in the table."
