A BARNSLEY business has donated £1,000 to local schools to invest in their fundraising Christmas celebrations.
The cash boost from Provide Education recruitment agency in Barugh Green will be used to buy things like pop, crisps and face paints for Christmas fairs; props for pantos; Christmas decorations and end of term good attendance rewards for pupils.
Provide placed the names of all the schools it works with into a hat, and drew winners out to receive one of its cash prizes.
In the Barnsley area this included Joseph Locke Primary and Cudworth Churchfield Primary
Casey Bullen of Provide Education said: “We have an excellent relationship with all the schools we work with and organised this draw to give some of them a little Christmas bonus to help their end-of-term festive activities go with a swing.”
