NEIGHBOURS of a little girl diagnosed with a rare form of cancer are determined to keep her smiling.

Aalish Naylor, six, who goes to Keresforth Primary School, was dealt the devastating blow that she had neuroblastoma the week before Christmas.

Neighbour Andy Cutler said: “As the family face 2016 with dread, fear and heartbreak with Aalish’s battle, we’re determined to rally round and do what we can in order to relieve the financial burden.”

Andy and Laura have have organised a balloon race at Dodworth Miners Welfare to kick things off which takes place on February 14 from 1pm with the release set to happen at 2pm.
