A VILLAGE hall caretaker has hung up his overalls for the last time.
Mick Harrison retired from his post at Mapplewell and Staincross Village Hall last Friday.
The 67-year-old worked evenings at the hall, on Darton Lane, helping set up rooms ready for all the different groups which meet there throughout the week.
