PLANS have been submitted for an indoor firing range.
Glenn Smith, of Phoenix Range Limited, Humberside Way, on Carlton Industrial Estate, has applied to change of use of the unit from general industry to a mixed use development.
In his application, Mr Smith said: “I wish to convert the internals of the premises into an indoor firing range for miniature rifles for sporting purposes, research development and distribution.
“There will also be a trade sales counter, bar for beverages and light snack for private members’ use.”
Comments can be made until March 1 referencing application number 2016/0078. A decision is expected by March 21.
