A HOAX caller pretending to be a police officer has targeted three people in Barnsley.
All three individuals received a call between 8pm and 8.30pm on Sunday from a withheld phone number asking them to attend Barnsley Police Station having witnessed a crime.
In each case, the individual had made no contact with the police or had witnesses any incident.
They all reported the hoax to 101.
