ENTREPRENEUR Russell Shaw is hoping his new candle shop on the Victorian Arcade will come up smelling of roses, spiced pumpkin pie or warm caramel brulee.
The 34-year-old has swapped selling caravans for luxury-scented candles at his Barnsley town centre boutique, Candleberry Lane, which opened its doors this week.
As the name suggests, it mainly sells the American-made Candleberry candles but also stocks a wide range of home-wares and gifts. Russell opened the shop after leaving his job at Goodalls Caravans in Huddersfield last October, which has since closed.
