COMEDIAN Eddie Izzard this week completed his amazing 700-mile Sport Relief challenge completing 27 marathons in 27 days.
The 54-year-old finished his gruelling challenge in South Africa and raised more than £1m for charity.
Next week a 64-year-old from Barnsley will set off on his own epic challenge which will see him running even more miles every day.
Brian Smailes is tackling the off road route from Land’s End to John O’Groats which is around 1,000 miles.
Brian is aiming to complete the charity walk/run in 27 days which will mean he will have to walk/jog more than 34 miles every day.
