YOU’RE never too old to listen to your dad.
And that’s exactly what Susan Richards-Vardy did and it led to her passing a coveted Grade 8 piano exam with the Associated Board of the Royal School of Music.
Susan, 52, of White Cross Road, Cudworth, has been taught by her dad Jack Richards since Grade 1 all the way through to Grade 8 over the course of 25 years.
To gain her latest pass she successfully completed the difficult 35 minute long examination playing three pieces - one being 11 pages long - as well as scales, arpeggios, aural tests and sight reading.
