MICHAEL Dugher MP visited Barnsley hospital to meet staff on the hospital’s dementia ward.
The meeting was also attended by a representative of Alzheimer’s Society UK.
Mr Dugher, MP for Barnsley East welcomed the chance to talk about the challenges those working in dementia care face on a daily basis.
In particular he discussed opportunities to educate and inform the public about dementia and its impact on those affected.
