THEY came all the way from the Italian capital to take a look at a shed in Barnsley.
The Mayor of the Roman district of Ciampino, Giovanni Terzulli, along with a group of Italian social workers were in town to see how Barnsley’s Men’s Shed is helping men aged 55 plus make beautiful objects out of recycled wood.
But it’s not just that - it also allows blokes to share a cup of coffee and enjoy a bit of banter just like the good old days when they were working.
