A DAMNING report has been published criticising South Yorkshire Police.
The assessment of how the police force is organised concludes: “There has been a disturbing move away from an effective neighbourhood policing model.”
The report also says decision making has been isolated, staff have not been listened to and action has not always been taken on agreed plans.
It also says financial and operational planning have not been linked and there has been an under investment in key areas.
