THERE will be an increased police presence in Cudworth to stop young teenagers continuing their ‘reign of terror’ which has allegedly included them defecating in public.
Yobs have targeted the area around St John’s Church in the last month and their behaviour has prompted South Yorkshire Police and Barnsley Council to step up patrols in the area.
The spotlight has fallen on Amber House, a children’s home on Church Street, whose teenagers have been accused of being responsible for a rise in antisocial behaviour which has also seen louts climbing on the church’s war memorial and its extension’s roof.
