COUNCIL chiefs will be asked to consider selling off two listed buildings on the edge of Locke Park in a move that would net the authority more than £250,000.

The ruling cabinet members meet on Wednesday when they are expected to push ahead and make recommendations to sell the North Lodge and South Lodge.

A report to be seen by councillors shows the sales would bring in the region of £265,000, with North Lodge valued at about £135,000 and South Lodge at £130,000.
