ENFORCEMENT officers will step up patrols at a fly-tipping hotspot in Cudworth.
Bloemfontein Street, which has been dogged with dumping issues throughout the year, came under the spotlight again at Wednesday’s Community Engagement Meeting at Cudworth Fire Station.
Letters have been handed over to residents on the street over the last year - but the meeting was told that so far authorities have ‘hit a brick wall’, leading to further measures to be taken.
Coun Joe Hayward said: “There’s been an awful lot of dumping on the street so we’re keen to get this sorted.”
