BARNSLEY Football Club is supporting Breast Cancer Awareness Month by promoting the important role screening plays in the fight against breast cancer.
The Reds have teamed up with the local breast screening unit and are urging all their fans to make sure the women in their lives are taking up their all-important breast screening invites.
Around one in eight women are diagnosed with breast cancer during their lifetime. Early detection through screening offers a better chance of successful treatment and full recovery.
