GHOST hunters set to carry out a paranormal investigation in a former pub are hoping to find some different kinds of spirits.
The South Yorkshire Amateur Paranormal Society will stage an overnight investigation in The Cranberry on Dodworth Road, Barnsley, which has been closed for about five years.
Lead investigator Gari Lee said his research had uncovered the story of a ‘dancing walking stick’ and he and his team are hoping to capture some activity either visually or on audio.
Gari, 47, of Moorbridge Crescent, Brampton, said: “We’re very much looking forward to it. It’s something I have wanted to do for a long time. I’m originally from Castleford and came over here and formed this team and just thought I’d love to get in there.”
