A MAN left seriously injured in a car crash wants to track down the off-duty nurse and paramedic who stayed by his side and ‘kept him alive’.
Premdor worker Robert Thomson, 31, believes he was lucky to come away from the smash on Redbrook Road, Gawber, on November 6 but says it has left his non-league football career in tatters as the muscles around his hip have torn apart.
“An off-duty paramedic and nurse were talking to me and if it wasn’t for them I would have lost consciousness and it would have been a very different story.
“I didn’t get the names and I would like to thank them,” he said.
