PLANS to reopen the village post office in Mapplewell Village Hall have fallen flat - because no-one has come forward to run it.
The original post office on Spark Lane closed last year and moved into the Costcutter but, less than a year later, it closed suddenly.
The village hall stepped in to save the service, but despite putting out an appeal for someone to run it, there has been no interest.
