BARNSLEY mum Katie Dawson raised £792 for Macmillan when she ‘braved the shave’.
Katie, 29, agreed to lose her locks in memory of Malcolm Forster, a former police officer and president of Barnsley Trades Club, who was father to her stepfather Gil Forster.
Gil said he was extremely proud of Katie, from Huddersfield Road, Barnsley, for accepting the brave the shave challenge.
She didn’t even discuss it, she just told us all she was doing it and already signed up and set about getting sponsorship,” he said.
