THE Cudworth community has pulled together for a youngster whose mum died this week - just one day before his 11th birthday.
Cash has poured in for young Callum Fletcher, whose mum Cheryl, of Crown Avenue, died after a battle with illness on Wednesday.
Lynsey Hall, of Southfield Road, heard about Cheryl’s death and felt compelled to help.
The 38-year-old started collecting local residents’ donations so presents could be bought in time for Callum’s birthday yesterday.
