Former Barnsley College hairdressing student, Poppy Nicholson, has snapped up a job on the set of one of the nation’s most beloved soaps, Coronation Street.
After graduating from a make-up course at university, Poppy, 22, soon discovered that most jobs she was interested required hairdressing skills for applications to even be considered.
After recommendation from family and friends she enrolled onto a part-time hairdressing course at Barnsley College where she was given the relevant training and received the skills required to progress in her make-up artistry career.
