STUDENTS from across Barnsley College, Sixth Form College and University Campus Barnsley were acknowledged for their outstanding achievements at the annual student awards.
The awards ceremony saw seven awards presented, including the achievement award, apprentice of the year, volunteer of the year, enterprise achievement, equality and diversity champion, overcoming adversity and the principal’s award.
On the night the principal’s award was presented to one student selected from those who won an award during the evening and this year’s award winner was 19-year-old Adam Pye.
Adam, who is an A Level student at the Sixth Form College, was also the winner of the equality and diversity champion award.
