CHAMPAGNE corks are pop-pop-poppadom-ing at a Barnsley Indian restaurant after it was short-listed for a top curry award.
The Original Dil Raj, High Street, Dodworth, has been named a finalist in the Restaurant of the Year category for the Yorkshire and the Humber region at the English Curry Awards 2017.
The English Curry Awards aim to acknowledge and celebrate the hard work of individuals and businesses who have excelled this year.
The success comes shortly after the restaurant was named Best Restaurant 2017 in the British Bangladeshi Business Awards.
Restaurant manager Miron Rahman is naturally very proud. He said: "We are all very excited to be named a finalist at the English Curry Awards. We feel very honoured."
