THE FUTURE of the company which ran two town centre pubs will be decided this week.
Quasis Limited operated Esmereldas and Quasimodos on Peel Street, which shut suddenly two weeks ago and staff were shown the door.
A meeting of creditors has now been called for Wednesday to consider the voluntary winding up of the Leeds-registered company, in a notice signed by director Mehdi Khafaf Rassouli.
The resolutions to be taken at the creditors' meeting may include the appointment of a liquidator.
A spokesman for Hartwood Estates, which owns the pub building, said: "The company that had the pubs look like they are going into administration.
"We are just getting ready to re-market the pubs and hopefully get someone else in."
