MACIE Colman likes trying to pull out her sister's feeding tube...

And mum Becci thinks it’s because Maddison got most of the food when they were in the womb.

The twins were ten weeks premature and share an incubator in the special care baby unit at Barnsley hospital.

Maddison weighed three pounds at birth and Macie, whose placenta had stopped working, was even lighter at under two pounds.

Three weeks later they are starting to thrive.

Maddison sucks on a special dummy smaller than a two pence piece while Macie is content to gaze at her twin, both have learnt to grasp when Becci puts their hands together.

Becci, 25, had a troublesome pregnancy from the start and suffered from infections and high blood pressure.

Attempts to stop her going into early labour failed, which may have saved Macie’s life.
