YOUNG Hayley Davies has quick stepped her way to success after she reached the finals in a national dancing competition.
The ten-year-old came sixth out of nearly 100 finalists at the old time and modern sequence competition staged in Blackpool on Sunday.
Mum Mandy said Hayley was ‘over the moon’ when she got her trophy.
She said: “She was crying when she went on to the floor because she was so excited but I don’t think she realised how well she'd done.
“It was lovely when they all danced around the floor and everybody clapped and cheered.”
Hayley, who started dancing when she was six, quickstepped her way through five rounds before becoming the only north-east entry to make the final.
