DAREDEVIL teenager James Maguire is back on his favourite skateboard after badly injuring a finger.
He had gone skateboarding with his pals when his ring got caught while climbing a gate and his finger was sliced to the bone.
He was taken to Sheffield Children's Hospital where doctors removed part of the finger.
James, 15, of Bloemfontain Street, Cudworth, has been skateboarding for four years.
In addition to many cuts, grazes and bruises he has needed stitches to a head wound when he fell and banged his head on the corner of a brick wall.
He said: "I went skateboarding again a few days after injuring my finger and have gradually started to skateboard again. It has put me off a little bit but I will probably get the courage to go back there."
