A CHOCAHOLIC from Monk Bretton has lost five stone - while working on her sweet stall in Barnsley Market.
Elaine Down, 56, of Minster Way, had put on weight after dipping into the sweets she has sold on her stall for 22 years.
She joined Royston Slimming World in July because she wanted to enjoy playing with her grandchildren and because she was starting to struggle with the heavy bags of sweets.
Elaine said: "I feel fantastic and completely better in myself.
"All my aches and pains have gone and I have got more get up and go."
Elaine joined the group eight months ago and would like to lose another three stone.
She fills up on fresh fruit and vegetables and eats salads and meats but added: "If I have a treat, I will have a piece of chocolate."
Elaine's 93 year-old dad, Stanislaw, lives with her and has lost half a stone because of her healthy eating and daughter Victoria, 31, who is also a member of the club, has lost two stones.
Slimming World Leader, Christine Melhuish, said: "Elaine looks fantastic.
"It has boosted her confidence and she is a valuable asset to my club."
But Christine said Elaine had no confidence at first.
She said: "She was terrified when she first came because she thought it was going to be like Little Britain."
