A BARNSLEY beauty school is ‘delighted’ after being rated as ‘outstanding’ in its first Ofsted inspection.
The White Rose School Of Beauty And Complementary Therapies has been rated as overall ‘outstanding’ and ‘good’ in the apprenticeships category.
A summary of key findings in the report said: “The principal and her team have successfully implemented an ambitious strategic vision to provide outstanding training in beauty and complementary therapies that meets the needs of local and national industries. Learners and apprentices receive very effective careers advice and guidance that support them to progress to their next steps. As a result, a very high proportion of learners go on to get jobs, work for themselves or continue with their education.
“Well-qualified tutors have extensive industry experience. They benefit from regular and effective training to keep their vocational skills and knowledge relevant and up to date.”
Principal at White Rose Colleges, Karen Lee Cooke, said: “I am delighted that following our recent inspection by Ofsted, White Rose Beauty College has been graded as an ‘outstanding’ provider.
