FACE of Barnsley winner Nikki Booker made some new friends after being recognised in the Chronicle.
Student Nikki, 17, of Eaden Crescent, Hoyland, was crowned female face of Barnsley two months. She said a few people had congratulated her on the win.
She said: "I've made new friends with people I didn't really know before."
Nikki took part in a photo shoot and a fashion show as part of her prize for winning the Chronicle crown.
She really enjoyed it. "It's not something you do every day. I'm glad my mum sent my photo in."
Nikki is now trying to organise a fund raising eventfor breast cancer research. She has found some lads from her college course who are prepared to have their legs waxed and heads shaved.
