BARNSLEY council wants youngsters to think outside the box when it comes to careers following its successful opportunity awareness campaign.
The Promoting Positive Aspirations Challenge encouraged young people of both sexes to look at jobs in areas described as non-traditional.
Alternative prospects included opportunities within construction for girls and healthcare jobs for boys.
Schools across the borough participated in a variety of projects to give pupils an insight into different careers and a celebration to mark the end of the challenge will be held at the town hall today.
