A BUS driver was held up at knife point as he waited at a Little Houghton terminus.
Two men approached the Stagecoach driver while he was changing the destination sign on his bus at the stop on Middlecliffe Lane at 11.20am on Monday.
They demanded money, and one of the men had a small knife. The driver was assaulted, receiving minor injuries, and the pair escaped with an unknown amount of cash.
One of the offenders is described as white, six foot two, aged 20-25 and of slim build. He was gaunt and unshaven, wearing a baseball cap and a black hooded top with a multicoloured logo on the back.
The second man was white, five foot seven, aged 20-25, of slim build and wearing a light brown hooded top.
