A DARTON High pupil wowed his classmates when he flew a plane 1,000 feet above them on Wednesday.
Trainee pilot Connor Mason, 15, flew the piper PA 28 from Netherthorpe airfield as hundreds watched from the playground.
"My friends did not fully understand what I meant when I said I fly planes. So I asked if I could have the day off and fly over the school at lunchtime."
