A NO cold calling zone is to be set up in Ingbirchworth to try to stop bogus officials targeting elderly residents.
The parish council has received a grant of £310 to spend on to help senior citizens in the village.
Similar schemes have already proved successful in Silkstone and Pendon House, Penistone.
A meeting is to be arranged to give advice to residents on how to react to door stoppers and challenge anyone who does not have an appointment or proper ID.
Residents in these zones said they felt more safe and secure in their homes.
