WOOL I never! A Penistone farmer thought he was going baaaa-rmy when he found one of his sheep had turned green.
Raymond Pears of Throstle Nest Farm sprayed his flock with fly repellent but only 'Minty' the lamb changed his coat, making his siblings green with envy.
Raymond said he had never seen anything like it during his years in farming. "I suppose this one must have got a bit too much spray. They occasionally react to it but I've never seen anything like that."
Neighbour Shirley Farrar of Oxspring Road said: "I have heard of pink elephants but not of a green sheep."
