Campaigner turned 'waitress' Pete Bradshaw will be dressed as a cheerleader when he serves the drinks at a flood victims' fundraiser at Thawley's tomorrow night.
He has been growing his hair longer than usual and will shave it off for the charity. If enough is raised, some other lads will wax their legs.
Pete said: "We're trying to get a fighting fund together." The funds will help buy sand for sandbags in case the council cannot deliver, and some money may be put towards a trip to London on October 16 to deliver a petition to Gordon Brown asking for flood defences.
Tomorrow's event will include prize bingo, a quiz, raffle and a Dutch auction, and begins at 7.30.
