SINGER Dave Cherry has damaged three treadmills at his local gym - because he has one leg longer than the other.
Staff at the JJB Sports Gym in Barnsley thought he was pulling their leg when he told them his right leg is an inch longer than his left.
Dave, 60, puts extra pressure on the right hand side of the treadmills, causing the sensors to knock the moving belt out of track, forcing the machine to crash.
He said: “It’s happened at least three times now and I think they’re getting a bit annoyed with me. They’ve had to have the engineer out to fix the machines and I’m surprised they haven’t cancelled my membership."
