EASTENDERS' legendary hard man Phil Mitchell has given Barnsley pantomime Jack and the Beanstalk his approval and will 'sort out' anyone who doesn't go and see it.
Actor Steve McFadden was in Barnsley on Saturday to see the show and meet the cast. He is a friend of producer Lee Batty.
Steve said he was impressed with the Metrodome as a theatre venue. "I didn't even realise it was a sports hall. I came in from backstage and thought I'd walked into a genuine theatre. They've done a great job."
Jack and the Beanstalk runs until December 30.
