AARON Leya Iseka and Callum Brittain could return to Barnsley’s squad on Saturday for the home game with Huddersfield Town.
Forward Iseka – who is the joint top-scorer this season – and full-back Brittain missed Saturday’s 0-0 draw at Peterborough through illness and injury respectively.
Head coach Poya Asbaghi said: “They are both training with us.
“The ambition is that they will be in the squad.
“We will wait and see if they can start.
“My hope is they will be in the squad.”
Full-back Jordan Williams limped off on Saturday but Asbaghi said he was ‘fine’ and in contention to play against his former club tomorrow.
The only player definitely out is injured defender Aapo Halme.
The Finnish centre-back has not played since starting the 0-0 draw with Blackburn Rovers on September 18.
Asbaghi said: “He’s recovering.
“His rehab is going well and hopefully it doesn’t take too long before we see him in training again.
“I cannot say how long it will be at this point.”
