A NINE-YEAR-OLD boy from Royston has landed a dream job testing water flumes in swimming pools.
Luke Annetts, nine, was one of seven selected to join First Choice's Cool Pool Board of Directors after entering a national competition.
He spent the weekend testing slides with expert Tommy Lynch.
Luke, who also won swimming goodies and a Nintendo DS, said: "As soon as I heard about the competition it sounded awesome and I wanted to land this dream job. I was so excited to be selected and had an amazing weekend testing out slides with Tommy."
Luke says he had lots of ideas about great pools, which could be incorporated into a First Choice pool. The children were invited to the head office in Luton and a nearby pool for their first board meeting.
All their advice will form a check list which all hotels with Splash Resort potential will be judged against.
Tommy travelled more than 27,000 miles last year to test out slides for First Choice.
