A DRUMMER 'stuck it to em' when she joined 600 other musicians in a charity world record breaker.
Queen Vic barmaid, Sarah Taylor, 20, had the experience of a lifetime when she joined the likes of The Smiths' drummer, Mike Joyce in a drumathon to raise money for multiple sclerosis.
She said: "I saw an advert from the MS Society asking for drummers to take part in a charity fundraiser. "By getting as many people involved they were also going to try to break the world record for the most people playing the same beat for the longest time."
Sarah, of Margaret Close, Darfield, travelled down to the Birmingham National Indoor Arena with her mum and met over 500 drummers including Slade's drummer, Don Powell and Cold Feet star John Thomson, who organised the event.
The percussion enthusiast said: "The atmosphere was electric, everybody was talking to everyone, it didn't matter where we you were from it was great.
"We had to play a four four beat for 10 minutes, it was such good fun, we were all laughing and joking. It has made me more determined to try to find another band to play in."
