CHILDREN at Kendray Primary got a bit of woof treatment when police dog handlers visited their school.
Pupils were shown how the drug-searching police dogs help fight crime in Barnsley during the demonstration on Friday.
PCSO Rob Peacock said it gave youngsters an insight into policing methods.
"It's great to be able to take the dogs to a new environment and engage with the kids," he said.
"Children generally love animals which is why we felt this would be an interesting and fun method of learning for them."
