BARNSLEY Central MP Eric Illsley put on a pink jumper to show his support for the breast cancer campaign.
Fund-raising events will be taking place next Friday for the campaign and Mr Illsley is urging residents to wear pink and donate £2 for the charity. He said: "Every year more than 45,500 women and 300 men in the UK are diagnosed with breast cancer.
"Like many others, I have lost friends and family members to breast cancer. I would like to encourage everyone in Barnsley to support 'wear it pink day' on October 30, to raise valuable funds for breast cancer research."
