A MUM who breastfeeds her five-year-old son said she was shocked by the national media attention it caused.
Amanda Hurst, 28, featured in a women’s magazine explaining why she still breastfeeds her school-age son Jonathan.
Since then she has been bombarded with interview requests, has gone on radio shows and yesterday appeared on ITV’s This Morning.
“I’m very surprised with the reaction,†she said. “It just started off as a bet.
“I go to a group where everyone breastfeeds and they said I bet you can’t get in the papers with it."
